Weekly Update - October 10, 2015

Reminder - Craft Fair is this Saturday 9 to 2.  Any ladies wanting "bling" shirts should check out my friend Linda Conrad's tables in the Wilkes Room at Savannah Center.  She has a huge, beautiful assortment; and her prices are very reasonable!    Please remember that Busy Hands Happy Hearts have their table in Laurel Manor and that this is their club's fundraiser and their proceeds go to fund all the fabulous charity work for that club.

This week will be Sit & Sew - ladies wanting help putting their squares tops together with backings and getting started "quilting the quilt", we'll be doing help with that, demo some fun techniques.  Fun ideas for the little accessories to go along with the blankets and quilts we're making.

Thanks to Debi Harvey for her demo to share the "tissue holder" with us.  This is a terrific project, one that can be a quick gift, we all have multiple times when it is just nice to take along a thank you.

Debi did a terrific job walking us thru the 5 minutes it takes to make one of these goodies up!!  Thank you!!

Last week I had some kits made up for Halloween table runners and wine coasters sets.  I've made up a few more sets this week and they are $3 each that make a 10 minute table runner and 4 coasters to match.

I've purchased a supply of baby and children prnts for pillowcases and hope to get some of those kits cut up before Saturday - if not, can make some while at meeting.  These are for the charitable sewing that goes to the Abuse center in Ocala.

Hope that everyone having a good week and enjoying the cooler temps.  We've had beautiful weather here and lovely skies for sure.

Here is time for me to say once again... Ladies, please share your fun projects with all of us.  We're here to do just that - learn and share together - all levels of sewing crafting fun.

As always, God bless,

Take care, be good and God bless,
