Request for Craft Help From the Silver Spings Museum

The Cracker Villages at the Silver Springs Museum is looking for someone to make samples of 2 antique toys pictured below.  I have doll patterns for anyone who would like to take that on.   I have an idea how the ball is made but if anyone knows where I can get a pattern for the ball, please let me know.

My friend Etta and I used to make these in velveteens. We called them "Victorian Balls" with a glass button at each point. I think we just experimented with making a pointed oval that would line up with a half circle that fit the oval when folded. As I go through boxes, I may run across a old pattern.

I find the best things when I'm looking for something else. Here's a great tutorial:

She calls them Amish Puzzle Balls. You do know that if you use Google Chrome you can right click and translate a page?
