New Covenant Caregivers Respite Visit

 

Last Thursday we were invited to talk about our fidget quilts at the Caregivers Respite meeting at New Covenant Methodist Church.

Micki set up all the quilts on tables around the room for people to see and I gave the talk.

We gave away at least a half dozen at the end.

We also offered to add items of relevance to any quilt in order to give the recipient something to relate to and we had one request for this.   The man who will receive this one worked with computers, so I found an embroidery pattern for a PC and put that in the center, then tied an old blank disk to a cord and sewed that on so it can go into the pocket.  I delivered the finished product om Monday.
